Google introduced the new Chromecast a few months ago. And now, it announced that the Apple TV app is coming to the platform in early 2021. Google also added support for Apple Music recently on the Chromecast.
In addition to the Apple TV app, Chromecast with Google TV users can access Apple TV Plus (you’ll need a paid subscription). This makes the Chromecast with Google TV one of the only streaming devices with all the major video subscriptions.
Apple TV+ now includes some of the best award winning shows such as “Ted Lasso,” “The Morning Show,” “Defending Jacob,” “Greyhound” and “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.” Users can also access other movies and TV shows they purchase via Apple and share them with up to 6 family members using family sharing.
Google says that support for Apple TV will eventually come out to more Android TV OS in the future as well.
