Looks like Samsung is going to majorly change the camera experience with its upcoming 600MP sensors. This news comes to us from the famous tipster, Ice universe. The tipster also provided a slide from an internal document or presentation as proof of this enormous camera sensor.

According to the slide, the main motivation behind these senors seems to be 4K and 8K video recording which is a huge trend now. With this massive sensor, Samsung will be able to allow zoomed-in videos without affecting the quality of the video too much.
From the looks of it, Samsung will have to pass through major hurdles before its finally able to launch this technology. The ISOCELL 600MP sensor seems to occupy 12% of the handsets back panel. But that’s not the only issue, with this massive sensor, there will also be a massive camera bump of about 22mm.
While Samsung still has to improve and solve problems that they are facing with this technology. But one thing is for sure that we can expect huge 600MP sensors with 0.8µm pixel size from Samsung sometime in the future. Till then it is just a waiting game.
