Looks like Oppo is adding yet another handset to its Reno5 lineup, the Oppo Reno5 Pro+. Earlier the lineup had two models, the vanilla Reno5 and the Pro model.
Oppo revealed this new handset via its Weibo handle. According to the poster, the handset looks quite similar to the Pro model.

According to the sources, the handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. As for the camera setup, this handset is going to be the first to use a 50MP Sony IMX7xx series sensor. Along with this will be a 12MP Telephoto module with 2x optical zoom. The third camera will be a 16MP ultrawide angle lens, while the fourth one is unknown.
Meanwhile, the company also has some amazing plans for the back cover. It handset will have a plain-leather black cover version. This will be the first mass-produced model with an electrochromic back cover.
The Oppo Reno5 Pro+ will also have 5G connectivity. It will join the launch of the Reno5 series which is rumored to be held on the 10th of December. So even though we don’t know a few bits and pieces of this series, with the launch coming up so close, we will find it out soon!
