Amazon and HBO owner warnerMedia, finally agreed this week. To bring HBO Max to Amazon fire TV devices, nearly six months after the streaming services first launched. Amazon will be removing HBO from Amazon Prime video channels, as a part of the Agreement.
Amazon prime video lets users subscribe to individual channels, with a monthly fee. But HBO prime video has some differences, from HBO Max. The HBO Max offers additional movies, shows, and series, but with the normal subscription price. HBO Max is available at the same cost as HBO prime, with additional benefits.
HBO is trying to increase its subscriber base, for HBO Max. It is not the first time, that warnermedia has removed HBO from OTT platforms.
