Samsung has announced the Galaxy A42 5G long back but didn’t tell us anything about the internal stuff, for example, the processor. But recent leak comes confirming the processor inside the device.
From the Google Play listing, it is confirmed that Samsung is packing a Snapdragon 750G inside. There is two Cortex-A77 Kryo 570 Gold at 2.2GHz, whereas 6 Cortex-A55 Kryo 577 Silver cores at 1.8GHz.
You will get a Super AMOLED Infinity-U 6.6-inch. Unfortunately with HD+ resolution. Also, with Android 10 with One UI 2.5 onboard, you get 4/6/8GB of RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. You will get a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 5MP depth sensor. Moreover, the primary sensor is a wide-angle lens as well.
There will be a 5,000mAh battery, and support 15W fast-charger. Connectivity includes 5G, and Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, etc. A rear-mounted fingerprint scanner is present for security and a dual-SIM slot. However, the Galaxy A42 5G will be released in only a selected market for now.
The countries which are going to get this device are the UK, Netherlands, Taiwan, and Thailand.
