Only a little over six weeks ago, Microsoft launched its Android Foldable. The reception on the company’s latest phone outing and new entrant group was mixed. The Surface Duo has now been discounted $200 on the official company store.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6 GB of RAM, and 128/256 GB of storage capacity the Surface Duo. The computer has two 5.6-inch AMOLED displays with a resolution of 1800 x 1350 and 401 dpi, which Microsoft calls the 8.1-inch PixelSense Fusion display. To power the hardware, Microsoft has added a 3,460 mAh battery. The 360-degree hinge is the unit’s key highlight, allowing you to use each 5.6 “monitor individually or together across several modes. The Surface Pair is also only supplied with a single 11mp sensor. The system runs with Microsoft Launcher as the UI on Android 10, with Microsoft reportedly working on an upgrade to Android 11 soon after launch.
The 128 GB and 256 GB versions each have a discount of $200, up to $1199, and $1299, respectively.
