Huawei has announced its latest flagship phone, the Mate 40 Pro. It is powered by the new 5 nm Kirin 9000 processor. The phone has got a curved 6.76-inch 90Hz OLED display and support for 50W wireless charging.
Apart from lack of Google apps, Huawei phones still offer a really great hardware experience. Perhaps the greatest feature of the Mate 40 Pro is its cameras. The device has got a quad LEICA camera setup.
The primary one is a 50 MP camera along with a 20 MP ultrawide, an 8 MP periscope camera with 8x zoom, and a 12 MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom. Huawei claims that with everything combined the device can offer up to 17x optical zoom.
Internally, there’s the new Kirin 9000 chipset. Huawei claims that it is the world’s first 5nm 5G processor since the 5G modem is integrated inside it, unlike Apple’s A14 Bionic.
The Mate 40 Pro Plus comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage whereas the non Plus version comes with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.
