Huawei is going to launch its Mate 40 this October. And the date is set! Huawei is planning to launch the device on October 22nd. This new Mate 40 is going to be the second device after the US banned Huawei from trading with its company. And also the second device which doesn’t have any Google services pre-installed.
Huawei is bragging about its new Kirin 9000 SoC, thus referring to a comeback into the market after the ban. Kirin 9000 SoC will be launching alongside the smartphone. That means we will see the processor in the Mate 40 as well.
There are again going to be two different variants – Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro. Both will have a set of cameras which will define which one is the Pro variant. The Mate 40 will also come with a 6.4-inch OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Mate 40 Pro will come with a 6.7-inch OLED display with very less bezels.
