When Apple introduced iOS 14, there were a lot of things that overshadowed the under the hood upgrades it brought. One such super useful feature was “Sound Recognition”. This enabled iPhone users to get alerts for things like doorbells, running water, smoke alarms, crying babies, animals, and more.
This new feature has now also arrived on Android, termed “Sound Notifications”. Not only will you get a push notifcation, you can also set it up that it can give you a flash from your camera light or a vibration from your phone.
As you can see in the video, there’s another feature that has been there for a while called “Live Transcribe” that essentially turns voice into text.
