It has been 10 years to Instagram, and we have seen many of the features come and go on the platform. This also includes the app icon as well. The app icon received very poorly when introduced. However, now Instagram is allowing you to change the app icon back to what you liked back then.
Do note, it is inside the Settings. Thanks to 9to5Google for sharing this wonderful trick.
With the latest update, Facebook has hidden a menu inside the Instagram app which will help you to change the app icon. This is hidden inside the Settings. With the app update on both Android and iOS to version 163.0.0.6.122 and 126 respectively, you can easily do this.

All you have to do is:
- Get the update first of all.
- Tap on your “Profile”
- Tap on the right hamburger icon.
- Now at the bottom, tap on Settings.
- Here Drag the screen from the top and release!
Now you can change the app icons with ease.
