Google has released the first security patch for Android 11 and it fixes a few major issues that the Pixel 4a users had been facing. When using a screen protector, Google says it has enhanced touch sensitivity on the Pixel 4a, though “auto-brightness response under some light conditions” has also been discussed. The latter is possibly connected to the budget phone that uses an ambient light sensor under the monitor. A first for Google devices, this was especially a problem faced by early reviewers. The touchscreen issues were, meanwhile, a more common issue among some users.
