Google TV has been launched and is available with the Google Chromecast

Google Chromecast has been one of the most used features by most Smart TVs available in the market now. If your TV did not support Chromecast, you could always buy their hardware, which provided you with the same functionality and features.

Now, Google has finally resurrected Google TV that comes with the new Chromecast, and it runs on Android TV.

Google TV comes with a new user interface that works, and its main home page will display the famous or recommended titles from streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max. As you keep on using the TV, it will show you better results on your screen according to what you watch and what you might like to watch next.

The whole interface has been divided into several tabs, including Movies, TV shows, Apps, and Library. Google said it modified the search information graph it used in previous offerings, including Play Movies & TV, to help Google TV better understand what you’re looking for. You’ll still be able to continue to use the Cast framework to stream your images or phone screen to your Monitor, and those who enjoyed Ambient mode for showing art on their television sets will still find it here. Also, Google said support for Stadia would be available in the first half of 2021.

The new Google Chromecast comes in 3 different colors: Snow, Sunrise, and Sky. The Chromecast now comes with a Remote Control that would improve User Experience by a significant margin compared to its older generations.

On a TV or computer, the streaming system connects to the HDMI port and draws power separately. Whether the latest Chromecast will allow streaming at up to 4 K resolution, or be limited at Full-HD is a critical point that remains unconfirmed.

On the latest Chromecast, like most popular streaming services and games, applications that were accessible on Android TV 9 Pie via the Google Play Store remain downloadable. As before, you can also cast video from compatible devices such as smartphones and tablets using Google’s Chromecast protocol.

You can buy the Chromecast now at just $49.99. If you are willing to get Netflix, they also have an offer to get 6 Months of Netflix along with Google TV for only $89.99.
