The company’s latest transparency report says that. It had removed more than 104 million videos, in the first half of 2020. But the last report, covers from July to December 2019 says that. It had roughly removed 49 million videos.
This is a great significant jump from the previous report, according to Tik-Tok. Videos removed are not up to 1% of videos that are uploaded on the platform. Almost a third of the deletions are of videos with sexual content and harassment. 22.3% of videos categorized as minor safety. And 19.6% were under illegal activities and minor goods.
Tik-Tok set to disappear from US app stores on Sunday. Or not able to download, from the App store.
