Apple has announced the new iPad and iPad Air today at its September event. The iPad Air is perhaps the first device to sport the A14 processor, even before this year’s iPhone 12.
The new iPad Air sits right in the middle between the iPad and the iPad Pro. It has got a thin bezel design. Instead of FaceID, Apple has put TouchID housed right onto the power button on the top.
Inside the iPad Air, there’s A14 Bionic, the most advanced processor ever made by Apple. It also includes machine learning-enabled acceleration that will apps a great advantage.
Apple is also switching to USB C on the new iPad Air. The device has got a 12 MP rear camera and a 7 MP front camera. IT also supports Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard as well. Apart from FaceID, LiDAR, and 120 Hz refresh rate, the iPad Air is a solid iPad Pro replacement.
The iPad Air starts at $599 and will be available starting next month in silver, space gray, rose gold, green, and sky blue color options.
