Samsung has finally launched the rumored Galaxy M51 here in India. The smartphone starts from ₹24,999 from the Amazon India website.
The specifications include a massive 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus panel, a massive 7000mAh battery, with 25W of fast charging support. In fact, you can also use the smartphone to reverse charge other smartphones as well. It comes with two different specifications, 6+128GB and 8+128GB storage. With an expansion slot, you can upgrade storage to 512GB. And yes, its dedicated slot!
In terms of camera, you have a (from top to bottom) is a 5MP depth sensor, then comes the Sony IMX682 64MP sensor, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. The Galaxy M51 might also come with a 32MP front-facing camera.
If compared with the recently launched Galaxy M31s, you will find everything similar even the camera module is the same. However, there are only some differences. The battery is 1000mAh extra, 43% thinner body, etc.
The major change that comes here is with the processor. Samsung is using a Snapdragon 730G here instead of the Exynos 9611 Soc, which they generally use with M-series. For security, you will get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, along with face unlock.
And thanks to that processor, the price of the device has also risen up. The 6GB variant will cost you ₹24,999, whereas the 8GB variant will cost you ₹26,999. The sale will begin from September 18 and will be available in two colors: Celestial Black, and Electric Blue.
