Qualcomm has finally announced a new SoC, the Snapdragon 732G today. It is a follow-on SoC to the already popular Snapdragon 730G launched last year. There is not much of a difference between the two, instead of a slight core change.
The Snapdragon 732G comes with the same older configuration, however, with a better core, that is Kryo 470, and bring much of an improvement to the graphics. The Adreno 618 is claimed to be 15% faster in rendering graphics than on 730G.
The uplink on the SoC is 150Mbps, whereas the downlink is 800Mbps, and is built on 8nm FINFET process. Qualcomm has also increased the core clock from 2.2GHZ to 2.3GHz at max. Out of the box, you will get Bluetooth 5.1 features alongside WiFi 6 capabilities. WiFi 6 capabilities include WPA3 security, Dual-band simultaneous (DBS), Target Wake Time, and 8×8 sounding.
