Samsung Pay has become one of the most widely used payment services worldwide. The company, as part of the expansion plan, has now launched Samsung Pay Card in the UK.
Samsung has partnered up with a fintech startup Curve. The card is powered by MasterCard. For those familiar with Curve, Samsung Pay Card will have all the features Curve card has.
For starters, users will be able to bring together all of their other Mastercard and Visa cards and manage them from one place. This also enables some unique features, such as the “Go Back in Time” functionality, allowing users to move transactions from one card to another after they’ve been made.
There’s also 1% cashback perk with when buying from certain brands, as well as five percent cashback on purchases from Samsung.com. For security, there is Samsung Knox.
“By bringing Curve’s unique technology to Samsung devices [the card] empowers millions of Samsung customers to take control of their money, access more choice, and enjoy a banking experience like never before, across all their accounts, without the need to switch banks or limit themselves to only one bank, all from the palm of their hand,”Shachar Bialick, CEO and founder of Curve, said in a statement.
If you are interested, you can sign up for the Samsung Pay Card on the Samsung Pay app. Existing Curve users can also sign up for the same.
