Vivo is launching a new handset, iQOO 5. Earlier this July, Vivo officially launched their latest 120W Ultra-fast charging. And this ultra-fast charging technology will be featured in the new handset.
According to reports from JD.com, the iQOO 5 is going to be a flagship-grade handset. The smartphone will likely feature an AMOLED 120Hz display with curved edges and punch-hole design. Meanwhile, the handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. In addition, the smartphone will support LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage.
As per the poster teaser by iQOO on Weibo, the iQOO 5 will feature their latest 120W ultra-fast charging technology. While the battery capacity for the smartphone is not yet known, we do expect that the handset will have atleast 4000mAh battery. Given that the prototype for the ultra-fast charging technology charges a 4000mAh battery from 0% to 100% in just under 15mins, the handset will charge in no time.
While most of the specification of the handset is yet unknown, we will get the updates soon enough. iQOO China today confirmed that the handset will be launching on the 17th of August. So we don’t need to wait much longer.
