OnePlus laucnhed it’s wireless Buds today alongside their budget smartphone, the OnePlus Nord. The company is the new company to join the game TWS. Interestingly, for this product, which is simply called “OnePlus Buds,” and not follow the Bullets branding.
It’s a little interesting to see how the Bullets series has quite a few devoted fans, but OnePlus seemed to be quite keen to stress that it’s a totally different product. The new pair of wireless earbuds from the business don’t hang around your neck but they still deliver a punchy sound.
The earphones themselves only weigh 4.6 g, while the charging case weighs 36 g. The OnePlus Buds are powered by dynamic drivers of 13.4 mm and also feature technology to cancel ambient noise for improved performance on voice calls.
OnePlus notes that the case will provide up to 10 hours of battery life with a charge of just 10 minutes, close to the wireless neckband earphones range of OnePlus’ Bullets. The battery life is estimated up to 30 hours per charge period, with the earphones having a guaranteed listening time of up to seven hours and a little over three additional charges from the case. The hearing aids often feature touch controls on the earphones themselves for playback, calls, and voice assistance.
At Rs. 4,990, the OnePlus Buds isn’t among the more affordable audio products launched by the company after the Wireless Z which was launched at Rs. 1,999.
