OnePlus Nord was reported recently to bring quad rear cameras and dual front camera configuration. Now, a OnePlus executive has revealed that a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.75 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS) support would house the vertical rear camera module on the upcoming OnPlus Nord. Accompanying the 48-megapixel camera, the executive added an ultra-wide-angle 8-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel depth camera and a macro-sensor. It was also noted that a 32-megapixel main selfie camera would feature in the dual front camera system.
The company reported in a post by Shawn L., the marketing manager of OnePlus Nord, that the mid-ranger would feature a 90Hz camera. It will also be boasting a 180Hz touch sampling rate which will make the device more sensitive to gamers.
More specifics include a 12 GB RAM option alongside the Snapdragon 765 G which was reported earlier this month. That’s a lot of RAM for a mid-ranger priced below $500 but it’s not clear if that’s going to be the stock RAM number or a higher-cost model.
OnePlus Nord will launch next to the company’s first true wireless earbuds, The OnePlus Buds, on July 21.
