Samsung is just shoving more battery power to its Galaxy smartphone this year. Instead of properly optimizing their UI, they just keep on shoving these massive battery packs in their Galaxy smartphones. Recent rumors also suggest that Samsung is yet again making a smartphone with a larger battery than the current ones.
The rumored cancelled Galaxy M smartphone, most probably the Galaxy M41 has been certified in China recently. And the certification reveals a massive battery inside the smartphone. The very recent tablet to feature battery large enough are Galaxy Tab S6 series and the upcoming Galaxy Tab S7 series. However, only a few smartphones have greater than or equal to 5000mAh battery. But this “cancelled” smartphone features a whopping 6800mAh battery!

And given that the battery is going to be insanely larger, the charging time will definitely go up. And considering Samsung’s choice of hardware nowadays, expect no less than a 15W charger inside when most smartphones are working over 18W of fast charging.
It is yet possible that the said Samsung Galaxy smartphone is cancelled, and the batteries might be used for next smartphone, most probably Galaxy M51.
