OnePlus is well known for its flagship smartphones which they launch every year worldwide. But once, OnePlus used to bring the budget devices for several countries, but they stopped and moved the production to flagships only. But now, things are changing, as they are producing smartphones for Europe and India, as of now.
The firm is right now working on OnePlus Z, a direct lineup to the their 2015’s OnePlus X smartphone. But in a forum post, they stated that they are working on a more affordable smartphone for countries like India. And it’s worth noting that the firm is talking of an entire lineup, but not a once-in-a-while smartphone.
The forum adds:
“As we have always done when we try something new, we are going to start relatively small with this new product line by first introducing it in Europe and India. But don’t worry, we’re also looking to bring more affordable smartphones to North America in the near future as well”
It is rumored that the affordable lineup will come with a powerful Snapdragon 765 SoC, along with 90Hz display. The smartphone will also support 30W fast charging at the box.
