You can now able to trade-in your old Mac in the U.S and Canada. Before this trade-in system is available online, from now on you can also trade-in your old Mac through Stores confirms Apple.
The change theoretically makes it much easier to get money for your old computer towards a gift card or new device. Rather than giving a mail to the representative that is your old Mac is eligible for trade or not. Now you take your PC to the store and you can check there if it is available or not. And you can instantly credit for the pc.
Apple site notes that it will take around two to three weeks to verify your trade-in. Now the new policy is complicated because many Apple stores are still closed due to the lockdown of COVID-19.
