Samsung has released its Health Monitor app recently in South Korea. The new smartwatch from Samsung is coming with the blood pressure monitor in Galaxy watch Active 2 Smartwatch.
The Galaxy Watch Active 2 Smartwatch still won’t work as a full-time replacement for traditional blood pressure. Through optical-based sensors can technically measure the change in blood pressure. Rather the sensors don’t give the exact number, and the doctor visits from time to time.
Samsung says the Galaxy Watch Active 2 Smartwatch also supports ECG (electrocardiogram). This is the same feature, from Apple smartwatch series 4 back in 2018.
Samsung didn’t make any plans of releasing it outside South Korea. If they want to release this outside South Korea, they should the permissions of Officials from that place.
