Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched a new smartphone in Spain. The new smartphone is the Redmi 9 and brings some nice upgraded over the previous generation Redmi 8.
The Redmi 9 comes with a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch. This notch packs an 8MP camera. Inside, you will get the a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, and packs 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Here you will also get a quad-camera setup, in comparison to the Redmi 8, which only have dual-camera setup. The main camera is a 13MP sensor, while others are 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.
You will also get an impressively large 5,020mAh battery with 18W of fast charging. However, inside the box, you will get only 10W fast charger.
The 3GB/32GB variant will cost you €149, whereas the 4GB/64GB will cost you around €179. The smartphone will be available in country starting June 18 and will be available in Sunset Purple, Ocean Green, and carbon Gray colors. However availability of the smartphone outside Spain is unknown.
