It’s been a long time since the OEMs have manufactured something cheap. Many OEMs are making expensive true wireless earphones nowadays, and seeing them this cheap in India is nearly impossible. Xiaomi has made one available in India now. The new Redmi Earbuds S TWE is a new addition to the Indian market with true wireless earphones. This is actually very cheap in comparison to some other brands here.
This is Redmi’s first attempt in that segment. It comes with an “ultra-lightweight design”. Along with it, comes the IPX4 certification, enough to protect it from your sweat and sudden splashes. The Redmi Earbuds S will have up to 12hrs of battery, however, only 4 hours for the earbuds while playing music. It takes just 90 minutes for full charging.
Redmi claims to customize the sound quality especially for the Indian folks. These earbuds come with larger dynamic drivers and feature DSP Environmental Noise Cancelation for enhanced call quality. You also get hassle-free interaction with iOS and Android Voice assistants. For gamers, Redmi has added “gaming mode” to reduce the latency up to 122ms when playing games.
The Redmi Earbuds S TWE will cost you only ₹1,799 or $24, and will be available for sale starting May 27th, and will be available on Mi online store, Mi Home or Mi Studio stores and Amazon.
