The generic Galaxy A51 and A71 are already announced in the US market since last month. However, they aren’t up for sale yet. Rumors suggest that Samsung is working on a custom Verizon Galaxy A71 5G with support for the mmWave 5G. Also, this smartphone might come with Snapdragon 765 instead of Exynos.
A new report from XDA confirms this rumor. The upcoming Galaxy A71 is going to launch on Verizon exclusively, and will have mmWave 5G support. Over that, the smartphone will come with Snapdragon 765 SoC.
The new Snapdragon 765 is a mid-range Soc, that comes with mmWave 5G modem inbuilt. Other than the mmWave, the Galaxy A71 5G will also support sub-6Ghz band as well.
In fact, the leak also confirmed from the Samsung FOTA testbed, and the Geekbench, where this device is listed.
