Everyone, with the COVID-19 pandemic around, is back at home working or spending some time with their family. This gives you the opportunity to backup and manage your PCs before going back to the hectic daily life schedule.
With this Giveaway, your remote work is just going to get a whole lot easier. Doesn’t matter if you want to Backup all your Data Locally or to the Cloud, AOMEI Backupper and MultCloud manager are going to help you with respectively.
Both of these are now free for 3 months!
If you have data scattered across multiple online storage services, such as Google Drive, One Drive, etc., then you know that keeping track of it all can be difficult, let alone keeping it synced. MultCloud by Aomei is going to solve all your problems. It is a portal based on the Web that allows you to transfer and sync data between online services.
As you can see in the above image, MultCloud supports a number of popular online destinations and even some I’ve never heard of before. But you may have noticed that iCloud is missing, but Apple is not allowing any third-party software to connect to iCloud, so that’s not the fault of Aomei.
Earlier it allowed you to backup upto 2GB in it’s free version but now you can grab a 200GB Storage Space for 3 months.
To set up a service for MultCloud use, simply select it from the list and log on at the prompts. If you have already logged in with your browser to the service, this will be detected by MultCloud and bypassed asking you to enter your username and password. You still need to explicitly allow access, but it is a lesson in what could lead to surfing at the wrong site.
You will obviously need to connect to at least two services to transfer or synchronize data, after which you simply select the source and destination folders, and let MultCloud have them.
The program is feature-rich and easy to use, but in fact, even if you are a data-backup power user, you are not likely to use the vast majority of features. That includes the free version rich in features, which has a surprisingly large number of backup options. Most likely, if you are not a networking professional and use AOMEI Backupper for regular and personal data backup uses, you will never use or even understand the use of this feature.
Other than that there are other features which are really helpful such as, Automatic/Schedule Backup and File Sync, Incremental/Differential backup. All these features are quite useful since you might forget to take a backup manually. The Incremental/Differential Backup comes quite handy because it helps the software not to backup everything again but rather just the new files or delete the old files from the backup itself making the size smaller. The Software gives you the ability to backup your whole system, a complete disk or even just a single file.
You will need the last full backup, as well as the most recent differential backup, or all incremental backups to restore your files. With AOMEI Backupper Standard, you can schedule backups of your most widely used files or folders on a regular basis, and save backups at the location you want. Then, if a disaster strikes, you can restore them all with just a few clicks using the software. AOMEI Backupper can check the validity of your backups once complete, and can automatically shut down your PC once complete.
Terms and Conditions of the Giveaway,
The Giveaway is valid through May 15 till May 25. And you’ll have access to all the features for 90 days since joining them.
