Dark Mode has turned out to be a recent trend in the smartphone market. For a year, we are seeing increased use cases of Dark mode already. However, accepting the Dark mode or a wider rollout is still a slowpoke! The same is the case with Google. Many of the Google apps are having Dark Mode already. And this time, it is for Google Search.
Google Search is now getting the awaited Dark Mode via a wider rollout around the world. The update will go live for smartphones running on Android 10 (I don’t know how even my Android Pie phone is having the dark mode, although have to turn it on manually), iPhones running iOS 13 or higher. If you get the update already, just change your system dark mode setting for auto transition. If you have Androir 9 or iOS 12, you have to turn it on manually.
The update is widely, but gradually rolling out. In case you didn’t get it, you will get it soon.
