Back in 2019, Microsoft demoed Surface Duo on stage. Since then Microsoft kept it more or less hidden. According to Windows Central, the device is in take-home status now. It means Microsoft employees can now request to test and use this dual-screen smartphone in the real world. That also means the device is almost ready to launch. However, the device won’t be having the latest hardware. It will be having a Snapdragon 855 as the work on the design has been done way back. It will be running on Android 10, but Android 11 will be pushed to the update soon. Microsoft is also preinstalling all of their first-party apps and they will support drag and drop function across both the display. Let’s take a look at the specification –
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 855
- Dual 5.6″ 1800X1350 AMOLED Display
- 6GB RAM
- 256GB Internal Memory
- Camera – 11MP
- 3460mAh Battery
