Xiaomi recently released a new model to the Redmi K30 series. This is the new Redmi K30 Racing Edition in K30 series, is the first smartphone to feature Snapdragon 768G SoC.
The Snapdragon 768G is a 5G-enabled SoC, and has a slight performance boost over Snapdragon 765 and 765G. On top-tier SKU, you can get 2.8GHz clock speed, whereas the lowest one with 2.4GHz. The performance of the Adreno 620 is increased by 15% as well.
Other than that, the Redmi K30 Racing Edition is going to come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage out of the box. It is also going to feature a 120Hz, 6.67-inch FHD+ display.
At the back, you get a quad camera setup, which includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro and a 2MP depth-of-field sensor. On the front-side, you get a 20MP selfie camera, with a 2MP depth-sensor.
Other than 5G, you also get 3.5-mm headphone jack, Type-C port, Bluetooth, NFC, and an IR Blaster. The Power Key houses the fingerprint reader. The battery on the device is a 4,500mAh and comes with a 30W charger out of the box.
Already launched in China, the smartphone will cost you ¥1,999 or around ~$280. However, global availability is still unknown.
