In November 2019, Moto launched its Moto Razr around the world. In India, the smartphone was to launch in the month of March, but had to postpone indefinitely. This is because of the nationwide lockdown imposed in the country by GoI. However, the things are changing little by little. GoI has allowed e-commerce websites to deliver non-essential good in orange and green zones already. In case of red zone, where I live, non-essential goods aren’t allowed yet.
After this, Moto has kickstarted the sale of the Moto Razr in India. The Razr costs around ₹1,24,999 and is available from Flipkart in Noir Black Color.
If you consider the specifications, you will say the price is definitely unjustified. Out of the box, the Razr comes with Snapdragon 710, not even 855 at this price point. Other than that, it gets 6GB of storage and 128GB of RAM. And even at this point, Moto is unwilling to give latest Android out of the box. This smartphone comes with Android Pie out of the box.
Other than that, the Razr comes with two displays. One is the main 6.2-inch display, which is foldable, and the other one is an 800×600 for notifications, selfie preview etc.
For the camera, you get a 16MP camera with ToF sensor, a 5MP camera for those selfies and video calls. And you get a mere 2,510mAh battery with support up to 15W of fast charging.
And do you think the price is well justified for a foldable smartphone with some mid-range hardware?
