Surface Earbuds now available for Pre-Order, available by May 12th.

Surface Earbuds is an attempt by Microsoft to jump into truly wireless earbuds market. This is a direct competition with the veteran players available in the market. However, the Surface Earbuds aren’t out yet. It is available on Pre-order right now, and will be available on and after May 12th.

The Earbuds were to made available last October, but due to some unknown circumstances, the launch got pushed further.

Initially, the Earbuds cost around $249, but with this recent launch, the price has gone down to $199 only. Feature-wise, there is no Noise Cancellation. Microsoft specifically removed this so that it should not affect users who use headphones 24×7. There are haptic gestures, for example, forwarding music, changing tacks, receiving calls etc.

The Earbuds comes with OmniSonics speakers for high-quality audio output. As per Microsoft, the Earbuds guarantees 8hrs of charge, and 24Hrs in total with its charging case.

The Earbuds will be available in single Glacier White, and A darker version to come soon after launch.
