LG seems to be breaking its shackles of naming the smartphones with alphanumeric names. Now, LG Velvet is going to be the name of its next smartphone, and the design at the back is a bit gorgeous, I guess?
The design of the LG Velvet is going to be way different from LG’s previous generation smartphones. The new design will bring a raindrop style camera module, which will incorporate smaller camera modules. There will be a larger LED below the main camera. LG will also introduce a “3D arc design” with the front and the rear glass.
“Our new branding reflects current trends of addressing the unique personal tastes and emotions of the individual with a greater emphasis on design,”Chang Ma, LG Senior Vice President, Product Strategy.
However, LG didn’t gave much of a detail about Velvet as of now. But Korean news portal Naver revealed that the new smartphone is to launch in the month of May, on 15th. There rumor reports that the smartphone is going to use the Snapdragon 765 SoC and 5G, with an affordable price tag.
