There is no secret that ever since US ban has hit Huawei, the Chinese smartphone maker has lost its dominance in the market. Huawei’s new phones do not come with any native Google apps, and that’s been a massive blow to company.
As per several online reports. Xiaomi’s latest smartphone the Mi 10 Pro’s box, may have a ‘special’ message for Huawei. Reportedly the European version, of Mi 10’s box has a message engraved which “with easy access, to the Google apps you use.
Huawei as its latest P40 series of phones do not come with any Google app. Huawei;s phones instead have their own set of apps. Xiaomi recently overtook Huawei to become the number three player in the world.
Hence, the message on the box in Europe, which was a key market for Huawei before but the US ban put the brakes on. Huawei has been working on several initiatives-like Huawei Mobile Services-to reduces its dependence on Google.
It remains to be seen whether US authorities, show leniency and let Huawei, work with companies like Google again. Meanwhile, had a history of taking potshots, at rivals have included Apple and Oneplus. It’s taken a thinly-veiled dig at a competitor closer at home.
