Moto today launched their G8 Power Lite smartphone, with Android Pie. The smartphone packs a massive battery, triple camera setup, and some of the modest specifications as well.
The Moto G8 Power Lite is the Lite variant of the G8 Power which was launched in the month of February. The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display and comes with MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. There is 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage. You can also increase storage using a microSD card up to 256GB. Being a “Power” device, you will get a massive 5000mAh battery. However, there is no USB Type-C port, just a micro USB, that supports charging up to 10W.
At the back, you will get a triple camera setup, where the main camera is a 16MP camera, the second one is the 2MP macro camera, and the third one is the 2MP depth sensor. The front-facing camera is under the notch and is an 8MP sensor. For security. you get a capacitive fingerprint scanner at the back.
However, Moto is launching this smartphone with Android Pie, not Android 10. Also, Moto hasn’t clearly said anything about the software updares for the G8 Power Lite at all.
You can buy the smartphone for $185 or €169, in two colors: Turquoise and Blue, and will be available in selected market in the coming days.
