Sony has recently launched one of its true wireless earbuds, which Sony claims to hold around 9 hours of battery. The Sony XB700s is the less expensive option if you want to get a TWE, but within a limited budget and most advanced features.
Priced at around $129.99 only, the Sony XB700s comes with Sony’s Extra Bass for more punchy and clear sound. With the given price, Sony is trying to defeat JBL and Samsung in their own games.
The XB700s comes with IPX5 Water and sweat resistance, making it usable during workouts. Equipped with Bluetooth 5.0, each of the earbuds establishes an individual connection to your smartphone. All alone, the earbuds rock a solid 9-hour charge on a single power cycle. With the included case, you get an additional 18hrs of charge.
Sony is supporting AAC and SBC audio codecs on the earbuds. Starting this month, you can purchase the XB700s for $129.99 in black and blue colors. However, there is no active noise cancellation in the earbuds.
However, if you are more into the over-the-head earphones with noise cancellation, Sony has launched the WH-CH710N over-the-head bluetooth headphone. The headphones rocks a solid 35 hours of battery on a single charge. The headphone comes with AI based Active Noise Cancellation, which keeps on track on what is going around you, and actively selects profiles based on your surrounding.
There are dual-microphone setup for the ANC feature. Just like earbuds, these headphones support AAC, and SBC audio codecs, but no LDAC support. The headphones are only available in black, and will be available for pre-orders starting this month for $199.99.
