With Galaxy Tab S6 dominating the Tab market all over the world, the A series tab somewhat dominates the lower to middle range market. With that in mind, Samsung has launched a new Galaxy Tab A 8.4 today.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4, being a cheap tablet, well, expect low specs hardware at the given price. The tab is priced at only $280, which is way cheaper than the flagship Tab S6.
As of the specifications, the display is an 8.4-inch display, with 1080p resolution. Expect an IPS LCD panel instead of the AMOLED panel found on the Tab S series. For storage, you get 32GB storage alongside 3GB RAM. The battery here is a 5,000mAh battery.
Focusing on the fact that the kids will be using this Tab more, Samsung is also bundling Samsung Kids Plus service with a 30-day free trial, after which you can continue after 30-day for $0.49 every month.
There will be two variants – LTE and WiFi variants and will be available in the USA from Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T stores in the coming weeks.
