Starting today, Samsung is rolling out an update, which will bring most of the Galaxy S20 features to the previous generation flagship, that is, the Galaxy S10 series and Note 10. The new features will come packaged in the new One UI 2.1 for S10 and Note 10.
The features will include several of the Galaxy S20 features like Single Take, improved Night Mode, Nigth Hyperlapse, Pro Video Mode, Quick Share, etc. However, this new update might not come to the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite, because they are not flagships.
The One UI 2.1 update will come with Android Security Patch April 2020 for the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 series. It will be packed with a bunch of other new features other than mentioned above. This includes 4K recording at 60fps on the front camera. Clean View and Quick Crop will come to the Gallery app as well.
As of now, the update is rolling out in Germany and Switzerland and weighs around 1.5GB in total download size. The unlocked variants will get the update first, later, the update will come to the carrier-bound smartphones.
