Xiaomi has recently launched the Redmi K30 Pro in the China mainland today. With a premium design aesthetics and the high-end specifications, the K30 Pro is as impressive as its predecessors.
The Redmi K30 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, with HDR10+ support. However, you will get only 60Hz display here. Inside, you will get the Snapdragon 865 SoC out of the box, with options up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS3.1 storage.
The camera on the Redmi K30 Pro has a quad-camera setup. This setup includes a main 64MP camera with 8K recording support, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro lens, and a 5MP telephoto lens. Another variant will be a Zoom edition since the base model will not have that much of an optical zoom capability. Other than the mentioned specifications, the Zoom Edition will feature an 8MP telephoto camera. That too with 30x Hybrid Zoom, which is a combination of Digital and Optical Zoom.
For selfies, the K30 Pro will feature 20MP selfie-camera, which will be common between the two variants. Other key specifications are a massive 4,700mAh battery with 33W of fast charging, Wi-Fi 6, IP53 certification and still, retains a headphone jack.
As for pricing, the base variant will cost you 2,999 Yuan for 6/128GB, whereas the Zoom Edition will cost you a bit more, around 3,999 Yuan for 8/256GB. As of now, Xiaomi has not announced the launch in the global market, including India. But there might be a chance that Xiaomi might launch the smartphone in India pretty soon.
