The Twitter war between Xiaomi spin off Poco and Realme continues in full steam. Poco India general manager C Manmohan has shared a video taking on arch-rival Realme’s recent smartphone Realme 6 Pro. The video which at the outset appears to be a mere comparison between Realme 6 Pro and Poco X2 goes on to make fun of Realme.
The Poco X2 was launched in India in early February while the Realme 6 Pro was launched in March. This is not the first time that Manmohan has mocked Realme. Recently, Realme became the first to launch a 5G-enabled smartphone in India with the launch of Realme X50 Pro. Manmohan tweeted a photo.
“Now that we have your attention. Just letting you know – we’re here to give you everything you need, nothing you don’t,” tweeted Manmohan. In another incident, Realme’s chief marketing officer Francis Wang ‘accused’ Poco of cheating. “Cheating is not right, in case customers understand the difference between fast charging standards,” said Wang in a tweet.
Responding to this, Poco India’s general manager C Manmohan wrote, “Since when has presenting facts become cheating? Not like we used Snapdragon 660 lite (lower clocked) & hid the fact. Nor did we launch a 16MP camera & called it 64MP.
Manmohan’s tweet seems to be targeted at Realme’s mid-range smartphone Realme X2 launched in December last year.
