Samsung is going crazy over releasing updates. In the course of a week, Samsung has already released Android 10 with One UI 2.0 update for many of the smartphones launched in 2 years time frame. For example, Galaxy A80, Galaxy A7 2018, etc.
The Galaxy A80 is the first sliding phone from Samsung, launched last year. The smartphone came with Android 9 Pie out of the box. Samsung is now releasing the device’s first major OS update with Android 10 and One UI 2.0. The update is currently rolling out in France, with firmware version A805FXXU4BTC3. Although you get most of the Android 10 and One UI features, the screen recorder is still missing here. Head to settings to download and install the update. The security patch is February 2020.
In India, three devices are getting the Android 10 updates. The Galaxy A70s has started receiving the update today itself. The update size is around ~2.03GB in size and brings all the Android 10 and One UI features, other than, again the screen recording. The security patch here is also February 2020.
The Galaxy M40 is also receiving the updates. The Android 10 update pushes the firmware version to M405FDDU2BTB5. The update has a download size of ~1.7GB. Expect to get all but one feature of the Android 10 and that is, you guessed right, the screen recording feature.
The third smartphone is the Galaxy A7 2018. The Android 10 update is going to be the last update of this smartphone. The A7 has its firmware updated to A750FXXU4CTBC. The download size of the update is ~1.3GB in size.
In Ukraine, the update of Galaxy A70 has been released. The update brings the firmware version to A705FNXXU5BTC2. The update brings Android 10 with One UI 2.0.
There are more devices, which are in line to get the update. Many devices are getting their last update. The updates for the other Galaxy smartphones will release in the coming days.
