Microsoft Surface Duo “Peek” Feature leaked in a video

Microsoft, Surface

A number of videos have leaked into the internet that appears to show how the Microsoft Surface Duo dual-screen system, including the revolutionary Peek feature, would work.

According to the videos posted by renowned Microsoft leaker WalkingCat on Twitter, if you open the device a little bit, a quick view appears that allows you to see important information and updates at a glance, without having to unfold the device itself.

This peek feature could be an alternative to adding another screen, as has been done by the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones. Microsoft hasn’t verified this feature, but a demo toolkit was released last month to help developers prepare Android apps for the Surface Duo, so it’s not unreasonable to think it’s in the works. Microsoft clearly wants developers to come up with creative dual-screen experiences and this peek-to-preview feature could set an example.
