Apple’s iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max might be the beasts out in the market, but the iPhone 11 is still under the spotlight.
Beginning at $699 — $300 less than the iPhone 11 Pro, which starts at $999 — you would think Apple’s iPhone 11 has cut a lot of corners. That just isn’t real.
Like the iPhone XR on the iPhone XS, the iPhone 11 has almost every important feature the iPhone 11 Pros has: the most powerful output on any device, a new ultra-wide camera, night mode for better low-light photos, longer battery life than the previous generation and all the new features in iOS 13 such as dark mode and a redesigned Photos app.
The size of the iPhone 11 might be a little big for a normal user’s hand, but it’s still not as weird and big as that of the iPhone 11 Pro Max’s 6.5 inches screen. This iPhone feels solid, and the glass back on the Pro models isn’t as slick as the matte finish.
The iPhone 11 has 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD Display with a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. The screen is lit up with 1792×828 resolution at 326ppi with a 1400:1 contrast ratio. The device is packed with the latest A13 Bionic Chipset that still beats almost all the smartphone processors out in the market.
Coming to the camera, the specs are as follows:
- Dual 12MP Ultra Wide and Wide cameras
- Ultra-Wide: ƒ/2.4 aperture and 120° field of view
- Wide: ƒ/1.8 aperture
- 2x optical zoom out; digital zoom up to 5x
- Night Mode
There are just a lot of other minute details in the cameras that make the photos crispier and punchier.
The iPhone 11 comes in six different colours and six different storage variants. The colours include the usual Black, White and Product (RED). Other than that you get the option to choose from the Yellow that the iPhone XR sported or the new Mint Green, or the Lavender colour.
And talking about storage you get the 64GB, 128GB and 256GB options.
So, which one should you buy?
You can go for any colour depending on how you like your phone. If you usually skin your device or use cases, you can get the Black or White version otherwise you can go for any of the four colours. But speaking about storage should definitely go for the 128GB version!
The 64GB might just not be enough for you if you are looking to use this device for a longer period of time and click lots of pictures. And the 256GB might be a little extra if you actually don’t fill your phones with tons of apps and random videos and pictures.
So, staying in the middle ground you should get the 128GB storage variant and we just might have the best deal for you.
