Samsung’s much-anticipated Galaxy S20 series is set to launch later tonight. The show has long been reported to feature three smartphones, one of which also sports a 108-megapixel colossal camera under the hood and 16 GB of RAM.
Samsung is also set to launch the Galaxy Z Flip at the Unpacked 2020 event in San Francisco, California, alongside the Galaxy S20 series. The device will be the second foldable device for the company, and will bring a Moto Razr design like flip with it.
Evan Blass has tweeted a series of what appears to be Samsung marketing materials related to the Z Flip. Many of the pictures confirm details that we suspected about the device, such as that its screen will measure 6.7 inches from corner to corner, that it will include a 3,300-mAh battery, and that it will feature a small outdoor ticker display adjacent to the dual-lens cameras.
The hinge of The Z Flip would obviously be different. Samsung advises users to position the computer on a surface in these materials and to keep it partially supported so that the camera facing the front can look back at them.
In addition, “the Interface[ was] optimized for a hands-free selfie and vlogging experience with top-screen visibility and bottom-screen controls,” meaning you may be able to skirt yourself using a tripod to capture video.
