The Redmi K30 is available on the home market of Xiaomi, and just hit India as the Poco X2. We expect a variant of Pro to arrive as early as this month and we haven’t got any further details about it.
Previous reports indicated an IMX686 64MP sensor, and now the same leakster confirmed the smartphone will have a fast-charging 4,700 mAh battery with 33W.
Recent rumors say the phone has an OLED display instead of the LCD display used in the Redmi K30. While there is no news on the refresh rate monitor yet, the phone’s likely to have a 120Hz screen. Rumors also say that the Redmi K30 Pro would offer a selfie pop-up camera in place of the pill-shaped hole-punch cutout of the Redmi K30. A quad-camera setup with the same 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor as the Redmi K30 could be at the back of the phone, but it is said that the lens arrangement is slightly different.
XDA also notes that an upcoming Redmi phone is packing a Snapdragon 865 chipset, suspected to be the Redmi K30 Pro. All of this combines to paint a picture on paper of a flagship-level experience, both in terms of power and battery life.
