The upgraded version of Galaxy Buds TWS earbuds, Samsung Galaxy Buds+, is rumored to make its debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event later this month. Having appeared in some high quality renders, their presence has now apparently been confirmed through an official App Store listing of the dedicated Samsung Galaxy Buds+ program. And if that wasn’t enough, a detailed specification sheet comparing the Galaxy Buds and the Galaxy Buds+ has also surfaced online, revealing the improvements brought to the table by Samsung’s next truly wireless earbuds.
The biggest difference lies in the battery here. The Buds themselves are going up from 58mAh to 85mAh, while the case is going up from 252mAh to 270mAh. Samsung further mentions that this should almost double the battery life, with playtime jumping with the Buds alone from six to 11 hours, and the case and buds from 13 hours to 22 hours. Fast charging also provides a 3 minute boost, offering one hour of playtime.
The Galaxy Buds+ app has already gone live on the iOS store, and we know some of the Galaxy S20 phones ‘ pre-orders will come in a package with the earbuds. It is Europe that will cost the new model 170 euros. Nonetheless, we’ll have to wait until next week’s official announcement for information on availability.
