With the launch of the Galaxy Note 8 in 2018, Samsung also showcased its first Smart speaker with Bixby. The next year it was reported that they were working on a Galaxy Home mini variant. But none of them saw the daylight. It seems Samsung is planning to release the Mini variant first.
The release date set by Samsung is February 12th. But hold your excitement, since this release date is for their hometown. The galaxy Home Mini will sport an IR blaster and will launch all over South Korea on Feb 12th.
However, we have to wait for the worldwide launch of the speaker anyways.
But for some reason, Samsung has pulled down its Newsroom post. However, the speaker is going to launch this month, that is clear. And coincidentally, the Unpacked event is on February 11th. That means we are going to see the speaker going alive on stage alongside the Galaxy S20-series and Galaxy Z Flip.
