Poco announced its first smartphone’s launch date after becoming a separate company-the Poco X2 arrives on February 4, next Tuesday. To “serious gaming,” the phone will have “extreme refresh rate,” a 64MP camera with Sony IMX686 sensor, liquid cooling and a Qualcomm chipset.

POCO has already set up a website to announce the launch, revealing a couple of key details about the forthcoming smartphone. The POCO X2 will feature, as per the website, a high refresh rate monitor, liquid cooling, and most likely a primary Sony IMX 686 sensor (as shown in the image below).
Initially, the website’s liquid cooling rendering (see image below) led us to believe that the app would have a dual-camera setup with a physical fingerprint scanner right underneath. The headphone jack at the top left corner, however, suggests that it could actually be a recycled POCO F1 render that features a headphone jack at the same location.
If our theory is true, a Snapdragon 730 G SoC will power up the upcoming POCO X2, coupled with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The computer will be fitted with a 120Hz high refresh rate monitor, which is also very evident from the picture below, and a 4,500mAh battery with 27-watt fast charging support. These allegations have not been confirmed or denied by POCO so far.
