After the botched release of Galaxy Fold, Samsung had been working on Galaxy Fold 2. A new tip from popular leakster Ishan Agarwal says the device will be having last year’s Snapdragon 855 SoC rather than newly released Snapdragon 865. The device will also be having a 10MP front camera which is probably the same sensor as the Galaxy Note 10.
Exclusive for @mysmartprice: Samsung's new Galaxy Fold clamshell phone, the SM-F700F will feature Snadragon 855, NOT 865. It will also have a 10MP front camera. Galaxy A51, A71, S20 4G, S20+ 4G Production has also started in India. #Samsung

The reason why Samsung is going with an older processor is probably that they have started working on Galaxy Fold 2 way before Qualcomm had announced the new Snapdragon 865 SoC. Restarting the project with new hardware would result in more changes to the internal design. Something not possible while they might be revealing the device with Galaxy S20 series in the month of February. Below pictures show the Moto Razr-like clamshell form-factor of the upcoming Galaxy Fold 2.
